Why CHBI ?
Early detection of lung cancer can be performed by any
high resolution low dose CT scanner. If there is a small nodule, then
follow up scans using the same scanner is often recommended.
Since smoking is a significant risk factor for both heart
and lung disease, we think it makes sense to visit our center which
can simultaneously examine the coronary arteries in addition to the
chest.
No other center in the region can perform a proven accurate
heartscan. Our center's director, Dr. James Ehrlich, has also kept
up with the latest information in this field in his association with
physicians developing the Colorado Lung Cancer Identification Program
and with international conferences on lung cancer screening. We have
developed relationships with leading pulmonary doctors who would be
available for further examination of any patient with a lung abnormality.
We believe getting a heartscan to prevent heart disease
from affecting you and your family could easily be the most valuable
10 minutes you could spend in Denver. If you are a smoker (or ex-smoker),
why not stick around an extra 2 minutes and get our lungscan. Your
future may depend upon it!
