I have Obesity— People who are overweight or obese have a significant increased risk for heart disease and should undergo a lifestyle and or medical plan to reduce body mass. It is important to determine whether the individual with increased body mass index has more plaque than usual for age and sex. If one is over 300 lbs., the table limit of our scanner has been exceeded and scanning will not be permitted.
