Which Scan is Right for You
Heart Scan only—if you have risk factors for
heart disease or are concerned about unexpected early heart disease
(screen), but you don't have significant exposure to cigarettes-get
the heartscan only.
Heart Scan-Lung Screen combination— If you
also have a significant exposure to smoking (past or present smoker,
passive, etc.) or other known carcinogens, we advise the combination
heartscan-lungscan (see lung screening).
We also offer a pulmonary function test (spirometry) as a complimentary
service for anyone requesting this who have a lung screen EBT exam. We will need the name
of your physician in case of an abnormality in the chest.
