About CHBI
Colorado Heart and Body Imaging---"Measuring Risks
.Managing
Concerns".
Coronary imaging and individual risk assessment was
introduced to Colorado in 1997 by Dr.
James Ehrlich and radiologists of Colorado Imaging Associates
using a medical breakthrough called Electron Beam Tomography
(EBT), the gold standard scanner available at leading preventive heart
centers worldwide. Our center is now involved in the early detection
of heart disease, cancer and osteoporosis. Indeed, our services have
led to a lowering of risks for thousands of mountain states citizens.
Ongoing research activities and involvement on a regional and national
level has kept CHBI an authoritative leader in the field.
Colorado Heart & Body Imaging will always stand out as the regional
leader in preventive imaging even after "competition" arrives
.here's
why
- Our center has highly knowledgeable national authorities
in coronary imaging and has developed close relationships with top
regional and national clinicians.
- Our understanding and involvement in preventive cardiology,
lung screening and emerging screening technologies is extensive
and will never be exceeded by others in Colorado. Two of our doctors
(James Ehrlich and consultant John Rumberger) are co-founders of
the Society of Atheroclerosis Imaging---they are continually advising
and lecturing to hospitals and doctors worldwide. Dr. Rumberger
has published over 100 articles and book chapters, while Dr. Ehrlich
is conducting research with 3 medical schools, while medically directing
and consulting for imaging centers in several cities. He has delivered
over 75 lectures worldwide since CHBI opened and is now editing
a textbook on screening technologies. Our radiologists are the most
experienced in the region in both coronary and body imaging.
